Their conversation centers in part on the appropriate response to the attack, and the efficacy of U.S. and allied military force as a deterrent to future radical Islamic terrorism. The second group is historians Donald Kagan of Yale and Frederick Kagan of The U.S. Military Academy. This conversation includes analysis of the dangers of action versus the dangers of inaction.

They are the then-Luxembourg ambassador to the U.S. and Canada, Jean-Paul Senninger, and the two co-producers of the film, Candice Allen-Olson and Lynn Rothwell.
